Robotics Excellence at DYCI
The DYCI Robotics Program of Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. in Bocaue, Bulacan, Philippines, is a premier STEM initiative that has produced over 100+ national championships. Recognized for its international achievements, including the World Robot Olympiad, the program fosters innovation, AI development, and active participation in global platforms such as the FIRST LEGO League and FIRST Global Challenge.

Original. Innovative. World-Class
It all started with a simple dream — to give students an avenue to find their niche in a fast-paced, developing world through robotics. With only 3 Lego robot sets, the DYCI Robotics Program began in 2007.
Barely a school year into the program, DYCI joined the 2008 Philippine Robotics Olympiad and placed 4th, then soon became the National Champions for the first time in 2009. The team served as our country's delegates to South Korea for the World Robot Olympiad, where they placed 9th. It was a great feat to achieve, yet there was more to conquer. And so, after soaring as National Champions for the second time the following year, on November 7, 2010, the team made history as World Champions for the first time.
From a simple dream in 2007, the team continues to make history to this day.
First School in the Philippines to Win in Four Different Continents – Asia (Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Qatar, India, Russia, China), Europe (Denmark, Hungary, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Greece), North America (Costa Rica, USA, Canada, Panama), and Australia (Australia).

DYCI Robotics Team Achievements
The DYCI Robotics Team represents more than competition victories. Its greatest achievement is the development of young innovators who use knowledge, creativity, and technology in service of others. From Bocaue, Bulacan to the international robotics arena, DYCI students continue to demonstrate that Filipino learners can compete, innovate, and excel on the world stage. This is the legacy of the DYCI Robotics Team—a legacy built on Greatness through Goodness and Humility, driven by a passion for innovation, dedicated to the advancement of Philippine robotics, and carried forward for the benefit of future generations.
