Grade 8

Program Overview

By Grade 8, students are becoming more familiar with the demands and opportunities of secondary education. At Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc., learning experiences encourage them to go beyond recalling information and begin examining ideas, solving increasingly complex problems, and expressing their perspectives with greater confidence. Collaboration and independent work both play an important role as learners continue developing academically and personally. Grade 8 at DYCI supports students in becoming more responsible, curious, and capable learners while preparing them for the more advanced work of the succeeding Junior High School levels.
