Program Overview

Grade 1 at Dr. Yanga’s Colleges, Inc. (DYCI) builds the essential foundations of a child’s elementary education through meaningful and engaging learning experiences. Learners strengthen beginning skills in reading, writing, mathematics, communication, and understanding the world around them while developing good study habits and positive values. The program encourages curiosity, creativity, participation, and confidence, helping young learners become increasingly independent in the classroom and prepared for the academic and personal development expected throughout their Grade School journey.
